         Nancy P. Compton
     has always enjoyed
  art. Even as a young child she loved to draw.
So it wasn't surprising
                       when she chose painting as
             her "full-time hobby!" 

We're pleased to exhibit a selection of Nancy's wonderful paintings done in a variety of styles and media.

  
       
  Nancy has received much attention for her coastal scenes,
which offer a unique, modern style. See On the Beach and Incoming Squall.

Nancy is well known in the southeastern United States for her genre paintings. Her series of tobacco paintings tell the story of tobacco farming in the South as she remembers it from her childhood.

You'll find Nancy Compton prints and paintings in private and corporate collections across the United States and abroad.

Nancy's studio is located in a rural setting near Danville, Virginia.
